For the first time ever the Ironman World Championship will be held over two days in 2022. After a three-year hiatus from racing here on the Big Island due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a monstrous field of 5,000 athletes will be racing over two days. Women and some men’s age groups head off on Thursday, Oct. 6, with the rest of the men, including the pros, racing on Saturday, Oct. 8.
For those looking to watch the action live, here’s where you’ll find the coverage:
The race will appear on Ironman Now, which is available on Facebook Watch, YouTube and Twitch. For those in the United States, you can also tune into to NBC’s streaming service, Peacock.
Here at Triathlon Magazine Canada we’ll be providing updates via our social media channels throughout the day, and a recap story once the race is finished.
You can check out all our coverage from the Ironman World Championship on our Kona2022 page.
